Mixing close readings and archival traces from Canada’s economic landscape with fictional or speculative narrative threads, You can draw a straight line at once attempts to countenance Canada’s role as an economic superpower, situate its national colonial projects within global networks of expropriation and exchange, and reflect on how power can be meaningfully understood in an era of globe-bestriding imperium and cultural atomization.
